I had an idea for the blog. A column called My Favorite Horse Breeds or something. The horse pals could send in photos, facts, the history of the horse, books and movies with the breed in it and why it's one of their favorites! Here's the first one if you like the idea!

My Favorite Horse Breeds~ Arabian 

Why I like them- They're so majestic and beautiful!

History- The Arabian is from Arabia. They were used for military work and were very important to the Arab people. They were bred with English mares to produce the Thoroughbred. 

Facts- 

1. They have small heads that are concave, small ears and an arched tail carriage

2. They are used for almost every type of riding including ranch work, parades and hunting. 

3.  They are one of the most popular breeds in America.

Yeah lolz. We dressed up again last Friday. We didn't run around though. We just paraded around school. We were almost late for our classes but the teachers knew what we were doin, so they didn't care.

I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY!!! I got my deer yesterday, (Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010) We got him loaded in the truck at 7:00 Pm exactly. He weighed around 400 pounds before we gutted him. He is a HUGE 3 by 4. He is extra wide, too. I shot him 6 times before he died! He was wayyyy tough. I am going to get his head mounted.

K! I sent one to araya! Today, at school we borrowed football jerseys and helmets and took pics of me and my friends for our school yearbook, we are gonna be on the cover!!! WHOOOO!!!!!! And then, one of our teachers dared us to run aroung at recess yelling and screaming, and well.....cant turn down a dare...and we did it!! Not a thought in the world about what they would say. Now that was fun. now its time for gopher fishing and game crossing....tell you later ;)

This is my first post, even though I haven't become a horse pal yet because my mom hasn't had time to show me how to send pics. She will soon, though.

I didn't know that about the Arabian. Thanks for telling me. I will always count that there are more than one horse breed, too.

Did you know that some breeders say that there is only 1 true breed of horse? You know what that breed is? The Arabian!!!! They say that because almost all/if not all horse breeds can be traced back to the Arabian. It makes sense, I suppose, but I will always count that there are more than one horse breed.
