We recently went to Underwood Family Farms where there are lots of animals and fun things to do, including taking photos! We went strawberry and vegetable picking with our friends and the strawberries were delicious! In the fields, we saw sweetpeas and sunflowers and they were very beautiful!
After picking, we went to visit the animals. We saw horses and cows! The cows have BIG horns! And one horse looked like Jimmy!
We also mined for gems and fossils, which is always one of Avery and my favorite things to do at the farm. We also found a few arrow heads and some Fool's Gold. It was so amazing!
We also saw a baby sheep! Her name was Freckles and she was only one week old! It looked like she had freckles on her face! We got to see her eat and then we got to pet her! Her Mom could not take care of her so a girl who worked there was her new "Mom". When her "Mom' left, she ran after her! It was so cute! Here are some photos of her:
We saw 3 adorable baby goats that were 3 weeks old playing in a huge tractor tire. It was so cute to see them jump in and out of the tire over and over and over! They had amazing balance and were jumping up and walking along the tire, too.
The farm was so fun and I can't wait to go again!
Your Horse Pal, Araya

They are soooo cute!! You are sooo lucky!! Freckles is the most adorable little thing!!! You really take great photos, Araya. When I grow up I want to own a big horse and cow breeding/showing ranch and I want to take pictures of the animals and ranch life. What kind of camera do you have? Ours just takes regular pictures, we cant take pictures and have the outer edges blurred, I wish we could though, it looks awesome!
